Today's Father's Day! So happy father's day to all the fathers especially daddy!! Went boating today. It was sooooo fun! Sooo sooo really fun. Its a once in a lifetime thing. haha. My aunt actually booked this leisure boat-Raffles Princess, just to celebrate Father's Day. It belonged to us us us and only us! My cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents from my maternal side. Boarded the boat at Clifford Pier. Each family brought some food along and the food was sort of too much. Haha. My uncles and aunts sung the karoke thingy. But most of the time was spent in the open air outside the boat. It was much breezier and more relaxing. haha. We went to Kusu Island followed by St.John's island. There at St.John's island, we swam at the beach. Showered a little at the yucky toilet there after that. Only washed myself clean I mean cuz the shower was shooting towards no where. It was horrible. It was also doorless. Then took alot of pictures on our way back. Whee~ Arrived back around 6.30pm. Went for dinner at the Esplanade-Glutton Bay. We walked there. Woot! The food there was yummy..mouth-watering. Enjoyed it! Took a slow walk back to the car park that was quite a distant away. Yup! Reached home at around 10pm.

Today was the Community Drumming Festival!! We were to assemble at the school foyer at 10.15am. I thought I was late, but my friends were later than me. The bus left soon after for ITE Simei. We were gathered at the Indoor Sports Centre there. It was huge..extremely huge and high tech. Yes. Had our not-so-nice lunch and headed back to the ISC. Went through another rehearsal in the afternoon under the hot sun. After that, we got a break from 4.30pm-6pm..we could do whatever we wanted, but just stayed in at the ISC cuz I was sweating mad and didn't want to stink. My friends too. We were then given our drumming shirt for the performance. Ours were pink in colour!Not too bad, but I preffered the blue or maroon. Sound Shapes looked so pink!!! Haha. The dress code for the day for every participant was jeans with covered shoes. Had our dinner down at the waiting area. We were all quite high when it was our turn to perform. We did quite well! Headed to the field after we finished performing. While we were waiting for the other groups to finish, we had to play along. It was plain fun. We managed to groove along as well. It was followed by the finale and after that, a procession. Lol. When everything was over, we had to return our instruments. Everyone was so pissed because initially they said that we would be able to keep our instruments. And that damn man made us wait in that hot stuffy room until everyone was quiet and organised when every other group had already kept their instrument!! hmpfh. Oh and we didn't eben get the goodie bags that the audiences got. It was unfair! All we got was that shirt. Which is not exactly nice. Left the place at 9.45pm. Daddy and Mummy came to pick me up.

Went to Eastpoint today with Van,Yu Min and Yu Ru. Had KFC for breakfast-lunch. Walked around after that to kill time. Went to CD Rama in Popular to look for Corrine May's cd, then found out Rooster's cd is already out!!! Woo-hoo! Daddy says he's gonna get it for me. Yay! Went to Pet Safari.. and guess who we saw?!?!?! Lionel Lewis!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Haha. He's like so tall and his gf is quite short. I was like OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I saw him from afar. My eyes are sharp huh! Haha. Nah. Took cab to school. There was a bus that took us to ITE College East, Simei. Today's rehearsal was so hectic and tiring. Can't wait for tmr anyway!

OMG!!! This is unbelievable! I didn't know 'they' still hung out together! Its amazing. But not really though. I just found out today anyway. I thought they would never keep in contact again. Yeah you must be wondering who am I talking about, but nevermind...'him' and 'they'!! Haha.
Ok..had the second drumming rehearsal today. Our playing was much much better today! More organised..more energetic..and got a few movements added in and ammended. Whee~ Learnt the finale piece as well. It was just a few bit and rhythms here and there with body percussion. Fun, though I can get quite blur when it comes to the body percussion. I have a little bit of coordination problems. Hah! Thats probably the main reason why. Meeting Vanessa,Yu Min,Hui Fang and Yu Ru at Eastpoint tmr for lunch before going to school. Yay! We've got transport provided to take us to ITE College East, Simei, for our rehearsal which would end at 9pm. So sad..Daddy can't pick me up after that. He's got company dinner. Sigh. Dun know how will I be making my way home. Mummy won't allow me to go home all by myself so late at night. She would think of a way when she comes back tonight she says.

Today's the first rehearsal of the Community Drumming Festival. Our contingent's name is 'Sound Shakes'!! Cool! Got to school at 9am. We were grouped by the members of the Heartbeat Percussion band. There were 6 different kinds of instruments. The big circular, medium circular, small circular, square, rectangle and the casternets or whatever you call that. We were assigned to one instrument based on our group. Mine was the squared one. The tune of it was not bad! Hah! We were thought the tunes of each of our assigned parts. There were parts A, B, C, D, E, F, Groove, Jam and I. Lol! Yah. We learned how to play all of it today!! Yeah it was fast! And on top of that. We coordinated in our movements too. Ended at 5.30pm instead of 5pm. I'm exhausted! There will still be rehearsal again tmr in school. Sigh. On Friday too..but it will be held at ITE College East, Simei...Combine. Saturday will be the actual performance!

Went to watch Madagascar the movie just now!! The animals were so cute!! The lion,zebra,hippo, giraffe,penguins,monkeys and the baboons(if i'm not wrong)! Haha. The movie was funny, cute and a lil wacky! If you're in for a comedy kinda movie, go watch it! It's definitely worth your time and money! Hah! Enjoyed the show. Can't wait for the new movie, Mr & Mrs. Smith,which will be opening in cinemas tommorow. OMG!!! Brad Pitt!!! Hot! Hot! Hot!! Lol! Gotta catch his on-screen chemistry with Angelina Jolie. Yeah! Anyway, Mummy bought me that pair of Converse shoes I wanted. Finally!
I'm so dead. I have only completed my english holiday homework. Literature half-way through! Die die die!! I'm like so busy even though its the school holidays. Gotta go back to school for band practices..Drumming Festival next week..going to malaysia this week!! Oh yah and not forgetting tuition too! So not a holiday for me at all! hur-hur..

The Balloon Hat Festival at Sentosa yesterday was so fun!!!! The most fun and exciting performace in my entire band life! We falled in at 8.30am. Our entire band looked so patriotic! Red Hangten Polo Shirt with white collar,band skirt,band socks and school shoes. We looked like we're gonna perform for some National Day Parade event. Hah! Left school at around 9.30am and reached Sentosa at 10am. We was the first school to arrive there! Tuned our instuments before going to the Waterfall area infront of the beach to perform. Played Abba Gold,Yellow Mountains,Twist and Shout, and Cartoon Carnival. After that, we got a short break. Went back to the Opel area under our tents where we had our some what delicious lunch. We had a one-and-a-half hours break. Cheryl,Natalie,Clarissa,Jennifer,Jolene,Gwen Lim and myself walked to 7-Eleven and then to New Zealands Ice-cream. Got two scooped ice-cream..Chocolate ecstasy and Choc Fudge Brownie. Yummy!! Watched some other schools performed. Then Clarissa and I shared the 'Berry Lishus' smoothie from New Zealands ice-cream. Headed back again to the Opel at 4.30pm. The Balloon Hat Parade started at 5.30pm. Before that, our Sec 1 juniors made the ballon hats for us. Mr De tuned each and every section before the parade started. SJI started with the parade, followed by St.Hilda's and then us. Our school's Percussion band were also there to perform with us. We had so much fun!! We cheered, sung...!! Lol...sooooooo fun!!!! hahaha. There were quite alot of people along when we marched. We waited for all the schools to arrive at the assembling area. When the rest of the schools arrived, the emcee told us to pop all our balloon hats together. We stepped on our balloon hats that were placed on the funky sand! The entire beach sounded like fire crackers! Haha! Woo-hoo!!!! We broke the Guiness Book Of World Records of amount of ballons made,paraded and burst! After the parade ended at around 6.30pm, our school and Woodgrove Sec continued celebrating together. Our Percussionist and theirs played while we all moved to the music,screamed and all had fun!! Our band was so enthusiastic, energetic and lively! Mr De said we made him proud, made Sir proud,made the whole of Sentosa proud and lastly, our school! Woo-hoo!!! We have succeeded! We had to walk back to the Opel as our buses were to pick us up from there. We waited quite long for our buses, but nevertheless, during that 45mins wait, as a band, we played Voices that Care, dedicated to Sir, and Twist and Shout in the dark. We sat on the ground and placed our files on the floor. My junior was so kind. She helped us hold up the book and even shined the handphone torchlight so that it would be easier for us to read the notes. The bus arrived at 8pm. Reached school at around 8.30pm, kept our instruments before we could go home. Before that, we were each given two pairs of Free admission tickets to Sentosa for the month of June. It was 9pm by then. Daddy and Mummy came to pick my sis and I up. Went for dinner at Nids Thai Restaurant near our place. After that, went home, took a bath and went to Changi Airport to meet my cousins,uncles and aunties from my mummy's side. We went to eat ice-cream at Swensens when it was already 10.30pm!! Had Sticky Chewy Chocolate!! Left the place at 12.15am! So late. By the time we reached home,it was 12.30am. Went straight to bed. I was dead tired.

The rehearsal at Sentosa today went well! Falled-in at 6.45am, but I was 5 mins late! Arrived at Sentosa around 9am. The Sec 1s did the balloon hat for us! There were 16 schools in all. Dun remember exactly all. There were SJI, Cedar Girls,St Pats,St Hilda's,Montfort,Xinmin,Dunman,Ang Mo Kio,Bendemeer,Commonwealth... Rehearsal started at 10am. Our band was in contingent one, together with SJI and St.Hilda's. Had to march like 600 metres under the hot sun!! It was darn tiring!! Gosh! I was shocked by the way the SJI boys behaved. They were like so disciplined and serious. Among all the schools, I thought that they were the most well-behaved and their marching was also also the most outstanding one. tsk..tsk..tsk..can our band be like that? Haha. Had half-an-hour lunch break after that. Went to 7 Eleven to get a Big Gulp! It was so packed with all the students! By the time we queued up,it was almost time to start the second rehearsal. Finished my food half-way. I was all conked up! Everyone was like complaining. We were all sweating like hell! But I enjoyed it lah. Haha. Marching under the hot sun can get me a tann!! Haha. Delanie and myself wants a tann!! Oh Geraldine too. Gonna bring my banana boat sun-tanning oil this sat so as to get the kind of cool golden tann! Woah!:)))

I've decided to perform for the Balloon Festival at Sentosa! I'm such a fickle minded person. Yes,y'know! Haha. Went for band today cuz i miss my instrument. Haven't touch it like since SYF. Yeah! I've decided to play as the songs that we're gonna play are not unfamiliar to me. Woo-hoo!! We've got like three new song pieces given my Mr.De,in which we'll have to play one of them-Twist and Shout, for the Balloon fest. That song's easy. We've all heard it before. SACP played that for last year's Arts Alive. The tune's nice too! Had marching under the hot freaky scorching sun today in preparation for Balloon fest. Carried the horn until my hand almost broke,my thumb was like so darn red!! Having a rehearsal at Sentosa tmr. Gotta be in school at like 6.45am..so early can!! After band,went home with sis,gwen lim and sherri. Saedah called me..we screamed on the phone over Baihakki yet again. Haha. Lol! Oh and I'll make myself hate Eunice Joy Chen and Jessie Lim Pei Yi forever!!!!!!!!!! They called me during band. Jessie was like "Aiyo Fiona why you never come with us to TM?".. I was like "huh what are you talking about?? I'm having band,how am i supposed to go!" Jessie.."We saw Baihakki at TM!" I.."Wth! How come?!?! OMG! Where?"..then Joy took over. She was like "Yah..we saw him! He's so tall! haha." I.."OMG!! I wanna go there now.haha. Idiot lah!!!" Called Joy after band again so that she could continue her story. Haha! OMG!!!! Unbelievable! She said Baihakki was cute. lol!!! Tsk..tsk..tsk. But she said she's not gaga over him just like malina,saedah,maisarah and myself!
