Turning 20. The Big '2' - overrated perhaps.
But I guess alot of things feel different once you hit that mark. Somehow I tend to look at things in a different way and things that used to bother me, don’t really do anymore.

Let me sum it up with just a few pictures from the celebrations, here and there.
- Sushi Tei @ Paragon with the amigos
- Black Angus with O!
- Dempsey Hill with the family
- Big Ben's Place with the relatives

Thanks everyone, for all the birthday wishes & the best presents I've received on my birthday!

Michael Jackson, OMG I still can't believe he's gone. Though I'm not a particular fan of his, but he was such a legend you would have been crazy not to have been influenced by him in some way or another. His hits were one-of-a-kind, chart-topping, and incredibly catchy and addictive. Almost every other dance show I've watched has MJ moves as well. There are millions of dancers out there who started dancing because of him, particularly, the moonwalk. Yeah and that's how iconic he was. 50 years down the road, people will remember the King of Pop, like how we remember Elvis Presley, so long live MJ.

R.I.P.

He, races through my brain, blinds me.
Like a million light rays, flashing past.
I can't help but feel drawn, addicted, to this very being I have come to know and love.
He boils my blood at times, and strikes me down.
But somehow, we pick up the pieces, and remember.
Remember all that we've made as one.
I was blind before you.
Stupid, and naive.
But you've helped me through all that.
Guided me through my raggedy phase, and brought me back to the real me I lost along the way.

These past few days, I've been feeling rather pessimistic. There's so much talk of the swine flu, doomsday aka. end of the world/The Apocalypse. It gets kind of hard to stay focused with all this negativity floating around. I think the news is manipulating us. No, actually I think we're manipulating ourselves. We've royally effed up our planet, our lives. Diseases, death etc. It's haunting our every movement. It's haunting us, deep. To the point of no return. Suddenly, we're all afraid to live out our lives because of all the horrible dilemmas in the world. We've created these diseases, we're intensifying the effects of global warming, we're allowing the end of the world to come. If only our world didn't get this complicated. If only people could stop running away from the very truth that our world, is dying. We are, in dire need of assistance, really.

To my lovely ladies, the 10th was just amazing.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife in town, we chose the authentic indian cuisine at Chutney's and had one helluva feast at ice-cream chefs.
Seriously, you'd bet, we ate till our hearts content that night.
Yet again, we were probably the loudest table filled with laughter and screams over cute korean boys.
Nadiah and Cheryn have already caught the god-damned korean disease from us, which is a good thing I hope!
& these ladies are head over heels with the east side, for what they say has the best makan penchants and the conveniences to our favourite chillac-and-lepak corners.
No doubt 'bout that since I'm one major fan of the east! Siglap is ♥ and my folks would never agree to move out of this area!

Can't wait for our next escapade to the east.
Love you all, very much.

THE WILD @ NIGHT SAFARI

WOGAY, PRETEND YOU DON'T SEE THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE! EEKS, WHY ARE YOU SO TALL! :/

Y'know, you must be thinking what would we be doing at the Night Safari at our age, no? All for the sake of our dearest child there, the one and only. The Night Safari was obviously a bore, apart from the animal show, in which the host had us laughing so hard till we literally went numb! & no flash photography was allowed of the animals, thus far, all you could see here are random US shots and nothing more than that.
