As 2006 draws to a close, and we all take a little time to reflect on it, what we have been up to or achieved, one thing is common - no matter what, we all learnt and took something from 2006. Be it in relationships, personal issues or just plain life lessons, we all emerged stronger and wiser than when we started off.
For me, I started the year busy preparing for the O's, had the ups and downs in my life, but I strengthened the bond with my family, and got wiser as the year went past. And for all of that, I'm thankful. But before this becomes another cheesy year-end post, I shall stop and say a big thanks to everyone I've actually met this year. I wish I could have done more, or achieve more, but you know what? At the end of the year, its not so much what we didn't do, but rather what we take from what we have or had not done.
This year has also made me realise how much more I need to grow up. It has made me realise that I have to stop making the same mistakes again, and to start making new ones and learning from them. I always thought that I would live with whatever decisions I've made and not regret. But as much as I would like to, there are times when I still regret. I still believe in having no regrets, but I now believe that with every decision I make, there is always an area where I can consider if I could have made a better choice.
As I look back at the year, I also realised I have really been very fortunate and very blessed. Blessed with friends who genuinely care. Friends who go the extra mile. Friends who are forgiving and accept you for who you are. Friends whom you know you would have a good time with regardless.
Year 2007. Whatever it brings, ready or not, I will take it as it comes. School starts in 3 days time and I am nervous. New environment, new lifestyle, new friends. Back to school and time to hit the books again. My brains have turned rusty. I am excited about what I am gonna be learning. 2007, here I come.

Back from a great summer time in australia.
Sunny, but yet so cold.
The lowest temperature was 12 degrees and highest 26 degrees.
The trip was as awesome as it could ever be.
Heaps of thanks to daddio and mumsie for bringing us there and splurging shitloads of cash on us.
The trip was a long one which comprised destinations in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Queensland and New South Wales.
We did tonnes of stuff which I'm quite reluctant on typing it all out in black and white, so I shall just give you some highlights.
We visited the Outback in aussie! Woopadeedoo!
It was a bash fantastic.
COWBOYS and COWGIRLS goo-goo! I like!
They gave us cowboy hats as souvenirs. Sweet!
The show was amazing, games between the two teams were fun!
The three course Outback dinner was great too, and those country music just went so well with it. My gawd!
We visited all the themeparks as well.
Movie World, Sea World and Dreamworld.
The rides were such thrills! SCARY but yet, exciting!
Pulled sis to accompany me along the roller coasters.
Had a good time screaming our lungs off.
Some rides really felt like our hearts were about to come out from our mouth.
Yep, that scary!
We met the Looney Tunes characters in Movie World, as well as those kids characters such as Shrek, Scooby Doo, Superman, Batman etc.
In Sea World, we met the characters from Cartoon Network. Johnny Bravo (my favourite!), Flinstones, Powerpuff etc.
In Dreamworld, we got to mingle with the Nickelodeon characters.
The one we've all been looking forward too.
My little sis went all crazy over them.
I've never seen such amount of pure, sheer happiness in her before. Really.
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS and PATRICK!! ahhhhhh!! So adorable!
The others included Rugrats, Dora the explorer etc.
We mingled and took loads of pictures with all of them.
Oh well, such extreme fun that I'll never forget.
We spent seven hours in each of those theme parks.
Visited Paradise Country Aussie Farm too.
I carried the koalas and fed the kangaroos!
Tame, friendly creatures they are.
Watched the horses displays, sheep shearing and camels too.
My COWS, I met them! WOO!
Had Outback lunch. Nice one!
It was shopping heaven at Surfers Paradise for us all.
A wide range of stuff sold there although it was expensive.
We bought alot and daddy had to constantly get those shopping bags from us to put it in the car.
Fooling around at the beach was fun stuff.
Sis and I did our caucasian guys galore, the surfers.
More than a dozen of them!
Bare bodied ones! Buffling six pacs! That aussie slang!
AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! SIZZLING HOT!!
Too many, too many.
I must stop or I'll become a big time lunatic right away.
The extreme high-ness in me. Y'all know that!
Anyway, aussie's got too many hunkies!
Even the young cashiers, supermarket packers, airport officer (which mum likes!) etc.
The night markets at Surfers Paradise had a string of unique stalls.
Hundreds of them.
Got christmas presents for family and friends there.
Morning markets, flea markets and farmers markets.
All a bash good!
Mum loved these markets, as you know her.
She got alot of stuff there.
Food there was fantastic.
Seafood especially. We had alot of them!
Almost everyday.
Had my Red Rooster meals, like finally!
Tried some asian dishes at the restaurant there too.
Not bad.
Oh and my favourite Baskin' Robbins ice-cream too!
How nice.
I'm gonna miss Australia. At least for some time to come.
Hopefully, I can go there again soon.
Daddy says we've gone to australia many times and that it would be other countries next year.
I guess Hong Kong's on the list for next June.
Next December? I'm not sure.
I want EUROPE! SPAIN! haha!

Mom got new furnitures from Manhattan yesterday for the coming new year. And the woman told us that she wants our place featured in the newspapers! Ohmygawd! Featuring our house in the papers? She's got to be kidding! Sis and I had a good laugh. Told daddio about it, and he too laughed it off. We won't allow that.

Outing at Vivo with my cousins yesterday. Waited for Tang Hui Ling at harbour front mrt for 40 minutes, before meeting the rest. Got tickets for the movie, Deja Vu at 6.35pm. Little did we know that movie tickets on friday after 6pm cost $9.50! We thought we should have caught other movies instead, but we have already purchased the tickets. Anyway, sat around at coffee bean, catching up and gossipping. It was a good one! Its been a while since we caught up with one another since everyone's been busy with exams and stuff. Walked around the over-rated Vivo and then decided on camwhoring at the outdoors. haha! Waiting for Li Jun to send those pictures over soon. I've come to a conclusion that going out with guys is a horrible thing because they can't tolerate the girls. They loathe our window shopping. They squad right in the middle of weird places because they are tired! haha! Funny though.
Deja Vu was not bad. Quite confusing initially. But a GAY couple "sploilt" the movie. Shan't talk about what happened. One word though, GROSS! haha! The movie ended at 9pm. Went for dinner at Food Republic after that. In good company with good food yet again. Left the place around 10pm. Uncle came to pick sis and myself up from the mrt station as we were going to their place for stayover.
Today, uncle brought us all to Ikea Tampines, the much hyped-up place. Went there for lunch and shopping. Spent like five hours there. The place was mega huge and overly packed. Went for dinner after that. In for Sugei Buloh Nature Reserve tomorrow. Long day.

Ahhhhh! Park clinched another gold last night in the 1500m Freestyle and a bronze in the 4 x 100m Medley Relay. In short, he managed top three placing in ALL his events including the heats! OMG!
Tao Li of Singapore won a shocking gold in the 50m butterfly event! Yes yes yes, and no one expected a gold medal to come from her, only a top three finish perhaps. WOOPEE! The star of the coming generation for swimming and obviously, there will be more to come from her. You could see how the rest of the Team Singapore's Swimming team was ecstatically celebrating her win. Spectacular!

Turned out, it wasn't bad.
An exam that did not require mugging your heads in the books. hah!

There's this Korean swimmer in the Doha Asian Games, Park Tae Hwan.
Gawd, he's hot! Besides, he's only seventeen but damn fast.
He came in first in the Men's 200m freestyle event.

Breakfast with daddy at Bukit Ho Swee before he dropped me off at MYOB.
We completed three practices today. Good achievement! haha.
It gets easier with more practice anyway.
Lunched at IKEA! Like finally. Surprisingly, it wasn't so packed today although its a weekend.
Our course ended at 6pm.
Went for family dinner at Sizzling Rock in Boat Quay.
Sumptuous! Sumptuous! Sumptuous!
I had 'Tenderloin with Big Prawns'.
It was served raw on a hot sizzling stone, and you are supposed to cook it yourself.
How cool huh! Ambience was another plus factor.
So many angmohs. HAHA!
Daddy drove us to town after dinner.
Yet another long long day.
I'm dead beat!

Today was good.
Breakfast at Amoy Street with daddy and mommy.
Thereafter, daddy alighted mommy off at her office before dropping me over at MYOB.
Course was okay. We struggled today as we were taught the more sophisticated entries.
Helping one another out in a way or another was really enticing.
Lunched at Anchorpoint. Wanted Ikea's swedish meatballs initially, but it was too packed and there was a long queue awaiting. Moreover, there were eleven of us.
Ikea gave out free cushioned hearts! haha.
Anyway, back to the course after that.
It ended at 6pm.
Dinner at Seoul Garden in Bugis. I had a hell lot!
Good meal though.
Shopped around a little while before going off.
It gonna be a mad weekend.
Oh and I can't wait to visit the Outback in Aussie! I heard it was a bash good!
