Hello all! School was good today except for the science practical bit after school. Haha. Surprisingly, we managed to complete physics as well as bio practical in one hour and another half for discussion. We had to slice and boil liver. Grossified! It had the terrible stench I couldn't take. After the practical, I could smell the liver on my fingers while writing. Oh horrible!

Read a little of 'The Revival of the Bubblegumpunks'.
Life isn't that bad for now. Anyway, if you ask the average person what he wants out of life, he will probably reply, "All I want is to be happy." And I believe him. I believe that most people want to be happy. I believe that we all work hard at making ourselves happy. We buy books, attend classes, change our lifestyles, search for love, in an ongoing effort to find that elusive quality happiness. But in spite of all that, I suspect that most people, most of the time don't feel happy. Why should that sense of happiness be so elusive, eluding both those people who get what they want in life and those who don't? Why should people with so many reasons to be happy feel so acutely that something is missing from their lives? Are we asking too much of life when we say, "All I want is to be happy"? Is happiness, like eternal youth of perpetual motion, a goal that we are not meant to reach, no matter how hard we try to attain it? Or is it possible for people to be happy, but we are all going about it in the wrong way?

I thought to myself today, how sad to have to spend your life like that. And sometimes by being too kind to some, you get taken advantaged of. By pretending to like someone when you don't, you forget what it really feels like genuinely to enjoy someone's company as a friend. Contrived emotion replaces genuine emotion until the ability to know what you are really feeling disappears. Perhaps this is why there is so much phony conviviality and so little genuine friendship in our lives today. Or whatever.

Happy Birthday SANDY KHOO! :) Lovefex!

HELLO! I'm finally blogging again. My blog is not decomposing, its just that I've become a weekly blogger now as I seriously can't find the time to even turn my laptop on, on weekdays. This week was yet again another eventful and hectic week. There is so much work, so many things to do and a line of stuff to rush off to. I'm feeling hell terrible.

Thursday was the worse day in my entire school life. If there was ever a day where more than one thing could screw up all at the same time, thursday was it. We had 3 test in a day. Accounts test, bio practical test, followed by maths mock exam for two gruelling hours after school. Seriously, I can't think nor concentrate in the afternoons. My bain cells just doesn't wanna work on me and this is all down to one, psychologically. Can't help it, can I? Besdies, had maths tuition after school and as a consolation, I feel tuitions are a whole lot better than school.

Wednesday was great though. Went back home after school. In the evening, becky and I went for Singapore Idol Spectaculars! Tickets in courtesy of Jamine Tye! haha. It was hell awesome! There were lots of people in the studio. We were sitting in Jamine Tye's camp, holding up her posters and all, but we were supporting JONATHAN LEONG! AHHHHH! I think he's got the full package of an idol and daddy thinks so too. From the voice to his boyish good looks(at least to me) to his personality, Jon has it all! WOOPEE! And we were screaming till our voice went hoarse. Sadly, we weren't allowed to take pictures in the studio. haha. But I still managed to capture a few nice shots. Alright, I wanna go for more Spectaculars. Yeah, and all you people don't forget to vote Jon! haha.

Today, we had english prelim oral. It was not bad. It turned out the way I'd wanted it to turn out. So yippy! Thank God I didn't screw it up. Mr Ng seemed nice though.

Anyway, I'm in sucha depresso mood these few days. I wish I knew why. It could be PMS! hurhur. I seemed to get all worked up over the slightest things. Sucks! Perhaps I've officially become insane.

Ok so thats it for now. I've no inspirations to write anything else.
Good night and sweet dreams.

SACCB got a GOLD in the National Band Competition held at VCH this morning! I'm freaking ecstatic now and will be for the rest of today! I was jumping and screaming for joy when clarissa called and sis msg-ed me. Our band has come a long way. This is probably the first competition for most of the juniors and Mr De too, who took over only last year. But yes, we still made it! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! WOOHOO! I'm so proud of my juniors. Sis recorded the 'St. Petersburg March' and I must say the band sounded really good. And I mean REALLY!

Oh yeah. Finally the weekends are back again. I look forward to fridays and I'm sure everyone does without a question. This week was a mad frenzied rush and I'm worn out. Glad that alls over. Piles of homeworks, tuition assignments, tutorials, tuitions! Just anything you could think of. Being a student literally kills one being. Seriously, my mind is reeling. I'm having less and less time for myself, as expected.

This year, graduation night will be held at ITE College East. Could it not be any worse? Its not any better than the previous years either, when it was held at the Singapore Poly. Seriously, I wonder if our school is that tight on budget. To think that Mrs Loh actually said that "money is not an issue for SAC". This is wrong. So so very wrong. Though the campus may be big, new and better equipped, to hold a grad night there simply doesn't seem right. Yes, it doesn't feel right either. And I doubt anyone would rise to the occasion. Why can't we have it like other schools, in a hotel? Afterall, graduation marks an end to another chapter of our school life and it should be a memorable and joyous occasion. I mean, we only get to graduate once from secondary school right? And yeah, you guessed it right, everyone when like "WHAT? OH MY GAWD! ITE? WTH?", when we were told the venue. Alright, let me forget about it for now.

ITALY WON 5-3 on penalties after the 1-1 draw! Not unbelievable though. They are a world class team with world class football players like Totti, Cannavora and Buffon. The finals were so exciting. However, I'd still prefer France to win. Both teams played well and proved themselves in the finals of the world cup. Best moment of the match was Zizou's head-butting incident involving Italy's Materazzi, which earned him a red card. What an end to his retirement. Its quite unexpected, coming from a quality and experienced player like him. Oh well, Materazzi must have said something really hurtful and insulting that would have made Zizou reacted the way he did. Sucha loser! I reckon he had intended to get him sent off and Zizou fell into his trap. Oh Zizou! How could you! Something I question is that if Zidane wasn't sent off, could France have won it still? Afterall, France were the better players during the game. And I think the referees for the finals were rather hesitant and blur. They didn't seem to take control of the game well enough and during the headbutting incident, they weren't there to exactly see it happen. Only the fourth referee did I suppose. Everything still lingers in my mind.

I'm suffering from World Cup hangovers! ahhhh!

Can't wait for the long awaited WORLD CUP FINALS!
France vs. Italy.
Its in 4 hours! WOOPEE! And I'll be supporting FRANCE!

GERMANY WON THIRD PLACING!!! WOOHOO! Thank God Portugal lost. I'm so relieved.

Oh and Superman was alright. Think the hype about superman was over-rated though. So much about superman having an emotional side. It was very subtle and if you weren't paying attention, you wouldn't have seen it. The thing about superman is that it is too much of a fantasy. To be an overall good guy and be able to fly is really something questionable. If you are an ardent fan or wanna see what the hype is about, then by all means go catch the show. Or else I suggest you wait for free movie passes or the DVD to come out. haha!

Today was day 2 of the MOE ExCel Fest. Our school had two booths at Bedok View Secondary, with two of our major school projects on exhibition. The Commerce Project as well as Camp CORRI. Everyone who came over were somehow impressed with us. That should be great news for the school. Madam Kee and the other teachers seemed quite pleased with it too. Everything went on really well, and for that, thank God for guiding us through this and instilling the confidence in us.

Watched CNA last night. David Beckham is stepping down as England captain, but it comes to me as no surprise. He was so emotional that he got his figures (international caps), wrong. Anyway, thats another depressing news. Its just one thing after another.

The new England era of my choice:
Manager- Steve McClaren
Assistant Manager- Alan Shearer
Captain- John Terry/ Steven Gerrard

I feel my world crumbling down. England lost. The team I supported most lost. If you're an ardent England supporter, you would feel the pain and the disappointment within you. I'm so depressed. I'm not functioning mentally, phsically and emotionally. And to me, its the end of the world cup as England will be making their way back home. They were so close, yet so far. Everyone understands football is a tough sport. No doubt about that. Football is just so unpredictable at times. I never thought England would make an exit in the quarter finals. Not the very least. I thought the semis was within reach. This will certainly take some time to get over.

Perhaps it was all down to the sending off of Rooney. Rooney was not to be blamed. Let me tell you why. I'll definitely have to say this, but sorry to all Cristiano Ronaldo fans. This is my blog and I have the very rights to state my views. I'll start. Rooney was tussling for the ball with Portugese player, Carvalho, who then fell. Rooney stumbled onto him and he eventually went down in pain. Initially, the referee pointed for a free-kick in favour of Portugal, but in stepped Ronaldo, Rooney's fellow Man-U team-mate, who ran up to the referee, urging him to show Rooney a card. Rooney then shoved Ronaldo aside. And guess what? The blind, naive referee, under the influence of Ronaldo, showed Rooney a red card. After that, Ronaldo with his guts and ego as big as ever, winked and smiled towards the Portugal bench as Rooney made his way off the pitch. Bloody hell! I hate Cristiano Ronaldo! I despise him! He is an idiot with marvellous acting skills! Perhaps, even better than playing football. He is a crook! A faggot! A man with totally no sportsmanship! Even Man-U fans despise him now. Call himself a man! I bet there was only one thing on his mind: Get Rooney into trouble. Ronaldo's simply trying to show that country comes before club. And everything he did was on purpose. He is the most hated person now. Immature, impertuous asshole!

I don't blame Rooney because he has been really great for England throughout this tournament. Considering England played with ten men down, I thought they were the better team in terms of work rate, ball possesion and control. They managed to hold the Portugese right up to the very last minute before the penalty shoot-out, which England eventually lost 3-1. England always goes down on penalties. However, I'd must say this. I'm actually quite shocked to see Lampard and Gerrard missing their penalties as they are regular penalty-takers for their clubs. It is so unlike them. The probability of them missing a penalty would be 1 out of 5. It was heart-wrenching to see the dejected faces of my favourite players. Lampard, Gerrard, Ferdinand, Rooney, Lennon, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole, Owen Hargreaves, Crouchy, Neville, Beckham and Co, who was down in tears. My heart bled for them. I couldn't hold back my tears. To see England come this far, and now, returning back home empty handed. It feels really bad. Now, we'll have to wait for another four years time to see what England can prove again. My utmost respect to them certainly, for I will be their ardent supporter for as long as I'm alive.

Stayed up to watch the Brazil-France match, thinking Brazil would probably win and hopefully, enlighten me. However, this was not to be. Brazil lost. Unbelievable! The reigning world champions lost? How could this be? Again, it brought me down to tears. Seriously, it feels the WC has already ended. Its going nowhere. England, the team I support most is out. Brazil, my second choice team is also out. Depressing! Words cannot express how one really feels.

WOOPEEDOO! England and Portugal match in 1hours15mins time. I can't wait! My eyecandies Frank Lampard, David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, John Terry, Theo Walcott and Stewart Downing. Ahhhhhh! Lets hope that Lampard plays. He injured his ankle during training on thursday. Portugal doesn't have their two key players, Deco and Costinha. Besides, Cristiano Ronaldo is injured and may not be available for the match. So all the more England should must win! I feel like a commentator. haha! And I'm feeling so soccer boy crazy.
